In late 2018, Steve Bannon, previously a top aide to Donald Trump, was in the UK preparing for a speech at the Oxford Union.

The speech was interrupted by numerous demonstrators, and Bannon, who was due to travel that night, told Jeffrey Epstein in an email: "Activists slowed down speech I doubt I can catch the plane we are heading to the airport".

Epstein responded: "That. Is a Gulf Air departing at 9:50 with a stop in Bahrain". Bannon replied: "You are an excellent helper".

These exchanges were released on Wednesday together with more than 20,000 documents from the records of Epstein, the deceased convicted sex offender.

The disclosure by the House oversight committee contains an iMessage chat where Bannon's identity is redacted. Media outlets has been able to confirm his identity by matching the dates, occurrences, and places mentioned.

For example, Epstein talks about arranging a jet from the UK for the unnamed individual in the chat, and offers praise their "Oxford speech". Bannon participated in the Edinburgh conference on November 14, and delivered the talk at the Oxford Union on November 16.

Bannon, who faces no allegations of any wrongdoing, did not reply on the inquiry.

'I'll make sure you're well looked after'

Bannon served as the president's closest advisers in the run up to the 2016 election and during the initial phase of his first administration, but stepped down from the administration in 2017.

He has admitted he was producing a film about Epstein prior to his passing and reportedly has approximately 15 hours of recordings. In a live taping of his podcast earlier this year, he said: "We plan to release the series, the multi-part documentary, next year - early next year."

But the recently disclosed documents indicate Bannon's connection with Epstein extended than being his biographer, with the disgraced financier occasionally appearing to serve like a personal assistant.

A short time prior to the conversation in which Epstein seemed to arranged a private plane for Bannon, Epstein remarked: "how does it feel to have the highest-paid travel agent in the world ".

Bannon expressed gratitude: "U r pretty good asst", to which Epstein responded "Therapies. Not Included".

Discussing a visit to "AD" in another message, Epstein assured Bannon: "I'll make sure you are well looked after."

UK Politics Discussed in Messages

The published messages also reveal Bannon and Epstein talking about British political matters in that year.

On the same day his address at the Oxford Union, Bannon messaged Epstein: "I've gotten pulled into the Brexit thing this day with Farage, Boris and Rees Mogg."

Then, in what seems like a reference to the UK prime minister, the embattled UK prime minister at the period, he continued: "The guys are attempting to move on. may today / tomorrow…"

Epstein advised Bannon: "In my view remaining as much as you can in the UK. Best-- so people get the commitment of your follow through."

Shortly after, Epstein asked: "Can Theresa May survive". Bannon replied: "It seems unlikely BUT the people over here have little courage" and added "Johnson ; Gove; Rees Mogg; Davis - somebody has to step up".

Theresa May was finally toppled in May 2019 after withstanding two votes of lack of support in late 2018.

A representative for the political party told media: "Nigel Farage has never been in a meeting with Steve Bannon, Rees-Mogg and Johnson." And there is nothing to suggest that encounter took place.

The US House of Representatives will vote next week on whether the Department of Justice should release all its files related to its probe into Epstein, who passed away in jail in 2019.

Attention in Epstein's associations with powerful figures was reignited this week after the publication of over 20,000 pages from his archives.

A portion of those mentioned the former president, who has consistently denied any impropriety. The leader was a acquaintance of Epstein's for years, but says they parted ways in the 2000s, two years before Epstein was initially charged.
